The Annapurna Conservation Area (ACA) is Nepal's largest protected area, spanning 7,629 square kilometers. It's home to diverse ecosystems, ethnic communities, and some of the world's most spectacular trekking routes.

Getting There from Our Resort

Himalaya Forest Resort is conveniently located just a short drive from several trailheads leading into the conservation area. We can arrange transportation and guides for your adventure.

Popular Treks

The Annapurna Circuit, Ghorepani Poon Hill trek, and Mardi Himal trek are among the most popular routes. Each offers unique landscapes, from subtropical forests to alpine meadows.

Biodiversity

The ACA is home to over 1,200 plant species, 100+ mammal species (including snow leopards and red pandas), and 500+ bird species. Birdwatchers will be in paradise!

Responsible Tourism

As a responsible resort, we promote sustainable tourism practices. We encourage our guests to follow Leave No Trace principles and respect local communities and wildlife.
